CECOEDECON’s Secretary (till 2018), Late Mr. Sharad Joshi was selected and sponsored as a CSO representative to attend the crucial UN Climate Summit, 2014 in New York. Mr. Joshi was the only attendee from India, among 38 CSO representatives who were selected from a pool of more than 500 nominations from across the globe following a competitive voting process.

CECOEDECON’s employees have been selected to represent the farmer’s constituency on critical international platforms including the UN Environment Assembly, UN Framework Convention on Climate Change’s inter sessionals and official discussions during COPs, UN Commission on the Status of Women’s annual sessions etc.
